Where We Came From is Not Where We Are Today

Is That Good?

As we celebrate our nation’s birthday this week on July 4th, many in our country are looking at today’s situation with our economy, government, and culture and comparing it to what our founder’s envisioned.

The current history revisionists are hard at work claiming our forefathers were atheists, didn’t believe in God, and wouldn’t read or encourage their families, friends, or political associates to read the bible, or live by its principles.

Their spin is just not fact.  They are lying.  Some proof points:

“…Having undertaken for the glory of God, and the advancement of the Christian faith…a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia…” ~ Mayflower Compact

“The highest glory of the American Revolution was this – it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government and the principles of Christianity.”   ~ John Quincy Adams, Sixth US President

“Our laws and institutions must be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of Mankind.”   ~ 1892 Supreme Court

“Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”  ~ George Washington, First US President

Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor, and Whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanks-giving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness. ”   ~ George Washington, Thanksgiving Proclamation, 1789

What are the revisionists doing?  Could it be?:

“Take away a heritage of a people and they are easily persuaded.” ~ Karl Marx, Founder of Communism

These are just a few of the words, taken exactly from their actual writings and documents.  The revisionists automatically say, “…taken out of context…”

Really?  I’ve seen the documents myself.  They are available for anyone to see.  And there’s a lot more.

Could it be that the revisionists have an agenda that most Americans don’t believe in?

Are the revisionists trying to persuade you to believe and live the way they do?

I’m not a right wing nut and neither are the historians studying how we got where we are today.  I’m just a concerned writer that loves this country and is watching how our current dominate secular culture, and its promoters since the 1960’s, are progressively ruining our country.

FACT: In the last 50 years of the fall of the Roman empire and Greek empire, the leaders spent their time legalizing their sins rather than working to correct the economy, government, and culture that they had led people to pursue.

What can you do about it?  Want to learn more?

Celebrating Our Godly Heritage

Why is Congress a Problem?

Lawyers.  Almost all of our representatives and senators are lawyers.  When have lawyers solved or built anything?  When have they been honest?

These are the people representing us?  They can’t even tell the truth.  It’s in their nature to lie.

The founding fathers were mostly farmers.  They went to Congress to work on the people’s business and then went home to their farms.  Not now.

Now they go there and stay.  They pass resolutions about meaningless garbage.  I heard a great saying recently, “The Federal government is supposed to deliver the mail and protect our borders.  That’s it.  End of story.”

The feds are so screwed up, they can’t even do that well.  Maybe we need the lawyers to start walking a mail carrier route.  It’ll keep them out of trouble.
