The Sin of Rationalizing Sin

Matter tends to be drawn down towards the earth and break down, unless properly tended to.

The same, obviously holds true for our souls. Unless they’re challenged to grow, they’ll give in to their culturally destructive surroundings. With the amount of suggestive television, movies and music we subject ourselves to, it’d be irrational to think that, if left unchecked, they wouldn’t drag our soul down to their level. If we fail to hold each other accountable, we’re basically affirming each other’s behavior and the cultural apathy towards sinfulness.
